'Godzone' is available for our younger members of the Parish and young visitors during school terms and currently meets on Sunday during the 9:30 am Eucharist.

THE ASCENSION PLAYGROUP (suspended until further notice)

Every Friday in school term time 9.30 to 11.30am.

  • This is a friendly and welcoming multicultural Playgroup for children aged 0-4 and their parents or carers.

  • We have great toys, free play, craft activities, stories, and songs led by friendly and caring parish volunteers.

  • Each week there is a time of playing, learning, and making new friends for children and adults.

THE CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION, BURWOOD EAST IS A CHILD SAFE CHURCH

All Volunteers, Parish Council Members and staff are required to observe child safe principles and expectations for appropriate behaviour towards and in the company of children as documented in the Ascension Child Safe Code of Conduct and the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne Child Safe Policy .

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.
